Shark Bay has become a world heritage site for its rich, unique and diverse marine life. The resort town Monkey Mia receives daily the visit of wild dolphins. They come right up to the beach, waiting to be fed by you. We are staying at Denham which has a lovely and stunning caravan park from which we watch the sun go down into the ocean.
The way to Carnarvon is green and lush. Our surroundings are slighty changing from desertlike to tropical. Carnarvon is set amongst banana and mango plantations and is not the unsafe and potential dangerous town as some road guides describe. It has a pleasant main road and waterfront.
